Research Areas
In the process of energy revolution, low-carbon transformation of energy, and innovation of advanced equipment, combustion and thermos-fluid science constitute the source of energy power, the cornerstone of energy conversion efficiency, and the key discipline of environmental protection. The Combustion and Thermo-Fluid Research Group is the explorer and pioneer deeply rooted in these key core fields.
At present, Our research group focuses on "low-carbon" and "intelligent" research, emphasizing deep cross integration with disciplines such as chemical engineering and materials science, forming four research directions: renewable and new fuel combustion/gasification/pyrolysis kinetics, interdisciplinary enhanced combustion technology of combustion/chemistry/materials, research and development of efficient and clean combustion power systems, and reactive thermal phenomenon optical measuring technology.
Our research group focuses on the combination of experimental research and industrial practice, and has established long-term cooperation with leading enterprises such as China Southern Power Grid, Towngas Smart Energy Company, Guangdong Haitian Group, and Shenzhen Energy Group Co., Ltd., with a high level of technological maturity.
In the future, efforts will continue to be made to improve the "quality" of technology and the "quantity" of research achievement transformation, constantly expanding the application pathways of research results in the national economy and defense fields.
Our research group has 6 researchers (2 Professor, 4 Associate Professor); 2 postdoctoral fellows;
1 research secretary; 2 doctoral students and 7 master's students currently studying.

Signature Achievements
· Developed China's first intelligent natural gas mixed hydrogen ceramic shuttle kiln system;
· Developed a prototype of a micro detonation turbine engine.
International Collaboration
Conducted research on solid fuel thermal conversion with Prof. Masaki Takaoka's research group at Kyoto University in Japan.
