About

Prof. WANG has long been dedicated to fundamental theory and engineering technology research in deep-sea resource development, contributing to China's maritime power strategy. He has independently developed a series of internationally leading scientific instruments and engineering equipment for deep-sea gas hydrate exploitation. Through sustained research efforts, he has proposed a multi-field synergistic decomposition theory and regulation methodology for deep-sea gas hydrates, and conducted productivity potential assessments for target hydrate extraction zones in the South China Sea, providing critical theoretical foundations and technical support for trial production engineering design.

Prof. WANG has led over ten national and provincial major research projects, published more than 140 high-level academic papers, and holds over 40 authorized invention patents in China. He has received the Second Prize of the National Technological Invention Award, the Chinese Academy of Sciences Young Scientist Award, and the Guangdong Youth Science and Technology Innovation Award, among other honors.
