About

Dr. CAI Guotian, researcher and doctoral supervisor, serves as Director of the Energy Strategy and Carbon Assets Research Center at the Guangzhou Institute of Energy Conversion, Chinese Academy of Sciences. He holds multiple prestigious positions including Deputy Director of the Resource Flow and Management Professional Committee of the China Natural Resources Society, expert in the Guangdong Provincial Development and Reform Commission's Strategic Expert Pool, environmental protection consultant expert for the 14th Standing Committee of the Guangdong Provincial People's Congress, and Vice Chairman of the Guangdong Energy Conservation Engineering Technology Innovation Promotion Association. His research focuses on energy and dual-carbon strategies, energy technology roadmaps, and energy geography. Since June 2007, he has led or participated in over 30 national and provincial-level research projects, accumulating extensive experience in formulating energy strategy-planning-policy systems at various administrative levels. Dr. CAI has published more than 70 academic papers, authored/translated 3 monographs, contributed to 4 edited volumes, and supervised over 20 master's/doctoral students and 4 postdoctoral researchers.
