About
CUI Qiong received the B.S. degree in electrical engineering and automation from Chongqing University, Chongqing, China. She received the M.S. and Ph.D. degrees in electrical engineering from South China University of Technology, Guangzhou, China. Her research interests include power system planning and operation as well as renewable energy application.
Her work on multi-load perception optimization and collaborative interaction focuses on overcoming the limitations of current dedicated transformer loads control systems, such as insufficient flexibility and weak regulative capacity. The research aims to facilitate precise load management and advanced demand-side response, delivering key technologies and comprehensive solutions to support the development of new power systems and improve societal energy efficiency.
In the field of energy management for new power systems, she has proposed scheduling optimization methods for integrated energy systems that accommodate complex scenarios, including varied operational modes, demand response, hybrid auxiliary heat sources, and different system configurations. This research has led to the development of a data-driven, multi-scenario optimal scheduling framework, providing essential theoretical and technical support for the design and construction of such systems.
Awarded the Second Prize of the 2019 Guangdong Provincial Science and Technology Progress Award.
