About
Dr. YAN Changfeng received Ph.D. from University of Science and Technology of China. He has worked for GIEC until now from 1995. From 2004 to 2005, he worked in Chemical & Biological Engineering Department, University of British Colombia, Vancouver, Canada as a visiting scientist. Now he is an academic committee member of China Association for Hydrogen Energy for China Renewable Energy Society and China Electrotechnical Society, and a senior member for the Chinese Chemical Society.
He focuses on Catalysis kinetics, electro-catalysis, new materials and associated processes, heat and mass transfer, electrochemical cell design and architecture related to hydrogen and fuel cell, electrolyser (electrochemical, photoelectrochemical and reforming) and fuel cell systems, alternative electrochemical fuels. He has published more than 180 papers and was authorized to over 30 patents relevant to hydrogen energy.
He is an organizer for Symposium ES11 “Advanced Low Temperature Water-Splitting for Renewable Hydrogen Production via Electrochemical & Photoelectrochemical Processes” of 2019 Material Research Society Spring Meeting & Exhibit and for session “Hydrogen Production from Fossil Fuels” in 5th World Hydrogen Technologies Convention, and was the guest editor of International Journal of Hydrogen Energy.
