About
Since 2013, he has been engaged in basic theories and key technologies for the exploration and development of marine deep-water oil and gas as well as natural gas hydrate (combustible ice) at the Guangzhou Institute of Energy Conversion, Chinese Academy of Sciences. His research focuses on fundamental theories, key technologies, and instrumental equipment in energy geological engineering for exploration and development. He has systematically studied well-completion theories and technologies including sand control, stimulation, and hydrate flow assurance, and revealed the multi-field coupled spatiotemporal evolution mechanism of CH₄ hydrate decomposition and CO₂ hydrate formation in sediments, supporting the role of oil and gas and hydrates in the South China Sea as a new pillar of the national energy strategy.
He is currently a Master’s Supervisor at the University of Science and Technology of China, Shenyang University of Chemical Technology, and Southwest Petroleum University. He is a member of numerous organizations, including the Chinese Renewable Energy Society, Chinese Geophysical Union, the 6th Guangdong Young Scientists Association, the Youth Innovation Promotion Association of the Guangzhou Institute of Energy Conversion, CAS, the Society of Petroleum Engineers (SPE), the American Chemical Society (ACS), and the American Geophysical Union (AGU). He serves as a Youth Editorial Board Member for three journals: Advances in New and Renewable Energy, Oil, Gas and New Energy, and Natural Gas and Oil. He acts as a reviewer for many indexed journals (NI/SCI/EI/Core) and has delivered more than 50 presentations and chaired over 10 sessions at domestic and international academic conferences. He is an expert and reviewer for 17 authorities and competitions, including the National Natural Science Foundation of China and the final of the National “Challenge Cup” Competition.
