About
MAO Shengyi is an Associate Research Fellow at the Guangzhou Institute of Energy Conversion, Chinese Academy of Sciences. She obtained her Ph.D. in Geochemistry from the Guangzhou Institute of Geochemistry, CAS in 2011. Her research focuses on cold seep biomarkers, carbon isotope tracing of marine sedimentary lipids, and microbial geochemical processes in gas hydrate seepage areas. She has led or participated in projects funded by the National Natural Science Foundation of China and published over 20 academic papers on organic geochemistry and marine geology.
