About

ZENG Xiaojun 's research primarily focuses on the clean combustion and pollutant control of low-carbon fuels such as hydrogen energy. As the Principal Investigator, he led the development project of the nation's first natural gas-hydrogen co-fired ceramic shuttle kiln. This project successfully overcame critical technical challenges in hydrogen combustion utilization, including safe transportation, structural adaptation, and NOx emission control, thereby establishing a pioneering demonstration model for the safe application of hydrogen in ceramic kilns. These technological achievements have been prominently featured by media outlets such as China Science Daily, Sina.com, and the official website of the Chaozhou Municipal People's Government.

Furthermore, as the Principal Investigator, Dr. ZENG has completed two projects funded by the Guangdong Provincial Natural Science Foundation, one key project under the Guangzhou Municipal Science and Technology Program focusing on people's livelihoods, and five industry-commissioned projects. With substantial theoretical knowledge and practical experience in the efficient application of low-carbon fuels like hydrogen and in equipment development, he has authored or co-authored 22 peer-reviewed academic papers (7 as the first author) and has filed or been granted 21 patents, including 8 invention patents as the primary inventor.
