About
YANG Haolin obtained his Ph.D. from the University of Science and Technology of China in 2006 and conducted postdoctoral research at the Institute of Fluid Dynamics, Tohoku University in Japan from 2007 to 2009. Upon returning to China in 2009, he became an associate professor at the Guangzhou Institute of Energy Conversion, Chinese Academy of Sciences.
He is engaged in research on the interaction between flame and wall in microscale combustion, elucidating the mechanism and regulation of the role of physicochemical properties of wall materials on flame stability. He also conducts research on efficient and low-pollution combustion of gaseous fuels, developing direct catalytic decomposition technology for nitrogen oxides in industrial kilns, which has been verified in ceramic kilns. His work supports the promotion and application of new alternative fuels, including hydrogen and ammonia.
