October 22, Japan Fine Ceramics Research Center Director, Sakae Tanemura, and the Minister, Tanaka Nakara, of Energy Conservation Center Japan had visited GIEC, they made the topic lecture on trough solar thermal power generation.
　 22, morning, Professor Tanaka Nakara, engaged in solar energy research, made a presentation entitled "Present Status of Solar Thermal Power Generation Technology", and the Director Sakae Tanemura made a presentation entitled "Optically Selective Absorbing Coatings for Solar Collector-Physical Principles, Examples & Life Time Evaluation". In the presentation, they described in detail the relevant technologies of trough solar thermal power generation, such as the prospects for solar thermal power generation, site selection, Condensation tracking, machine control, high efficiency solar selective absorption coating materials physics, materials preparation, life assessment and so on.
　 After the meeting, Director Sakae Tanemura and Professor Tanaka Nakara visited the solar energy laboratory and test sites, they indicated that they would provide strong support in building the solar thermal power generation system of GIEC, especially, the technical support. They looked forward to the application of solar thermal power generation will widely spread and applied in China.
