On Nov.6, Dr.Richard Corkish, Dean of School of Photovoltaic and Renewable Energy Engineering, The University of New South Wales of Australia, and Ms. Jessica, from Australian Embrass at China, visited GIEC together. The researchers from relative laboratories of GIEC and Dr.Xu Ying, manager of Foreign Affairs, welcomed distinguished guests.
　 During the visit, Dr. Richard Corkish and Dr. Xu Ying gave an introduction to the University of New South Wales and GIEC, respectively. The scientists from both sides showed great interests in many research areas each other and discussed various topics which is relate to the mutual interests.
　 Dr. Richard Corkish showed great interests to the research in Micro Energy System、the Energy Strategy and Building Energy Conservation program conducted in GIEC. He said he would pay close attention to the progress GIEC is making in these research areas and convey the information about the achievement GIEC obtained to Australia in time, to prompt the successful cooperation of Australia and China in the future.
