First national marine Sci-Tech achievements exhibition fair was held in Guangzhou, from Dec.8 to 10. More than 100 institutes, universities and enterprises, which are related to marine research, took part in the fair.

The exhibition fair displayed general information about the recent progress on marine research, establishment of information service platform and research achievements researched by related institutes, universities and enterprises. 

The exhibition has 13 sessions. GIEC, as one of the major exhibitors of Guangdong province, displayed three projects, which are the island stand-alone renewable energy system, the system of stand-alone wave power generation and desalination, and BD102C wave power generation device for navigation light.

In the signing ceremony, WU Nengyou, deputy director of GIEC, signed an agreement with Xingye Solar Technology Company and Wanshan demonstration base in Zhuhai for boosting marine sci-tech development.
