Professor Tanemura Sakae Appointed as GIEC Distinguished Research Fellow

Jan. 10, Guangzhou Institute of Energy Conversion (GIEC) held appointment ceremony for appointing Professor Tanemura Sakae as a distinguished research fellow.  MA Longlong, Secretary of the party committee of GIEC, awarded the certificate for foreign distinguished fellowship to him on behalf of GIEC.

Professor Tanemura Sakae, from Japan Fine Ceramics Research Center, has career spans nearly forty years, with engaging in the research on solar thermal power generation, solar air conditioning system, nano-optoelectronic functional materials and nonstructural materials for energy conversion. He has over 400 publications in journals and 33 books published, also holds 15 patents.

In the ceremony, MA Longlong introduced the outline of distinguished research fellow program of CAS. MIAO Lei briefly talked about cooperation experiences of both sides, and the further cooperation plan.

Professor Tanemura Sakae also gave an academic lecture after the ceremony, with the title of solar total tri-generation system to enhance effective use of solar energy.
