The 4st Annual Meeting of Sino-French Laboratory for Sustainable Energy was oganized by Guangzhou Institute of Energy Conversion(GIEC) and Dalian Chemical Physics Institute(DICP) in Guangzhou, China from April 10st to 13st, 2011.

There were fifty six researchers  coming from both parties. Vice director of GIEC, Prof. Dr. Longlong Ma addressed in the opening ceremony and introduced the development in GIEC. The 4st Annual Meeting focus mainly on solar energy, improving energy efficiency, implementation of new energy vectors and clean implementation of fossil sources. It will offer a unique blend of the various scientific disciplines (physics, chemistry, materials, and theoretical simulations) that play essential roles in understanding the energy issues based on sunstaninable development. After the meeting, they visited the 1000ton/a DME pilot plant of GIEC, CAS, located in Boluo, Huizhou

The Sino-French Laboratory for Sustainable Energy (LIA-LSE) was sponsored by Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS) and French National Center for Scientific Research (CNRS). LIA-LSE aims to encourage the understanding of scientists from two countries and develop further technical cooperation, promote the utilization of sustainable energy.
