Professor Lasse Rosendahl from Energy Research Institute of Aalborg University, Denmark paid a visit to GIEC on May 6th at the invitation of biomass catalysis conversion team of the Key Laboratory of Renewable Energy and Natural Gas Hydrate, CAS.

After conducting heated discussion with academic backbones and young students in GIEC, professor Lasse Rosendahl presented a report on the topic of Research and Development in Renewable Energy in Denmark. In this report, he introduced the researches done in Denmark in the fields of thermal energy and power engineering, biomass energy, energy conversion technology, energy conservation, numerical simulation and gas turbine hybrid power system, etc. In addition, he also covered the theoretical research and engineering application of the technologies in combustion, bio-oil application, fluid theory, multiphase hydrodynamic simulation, and zero CO2 emission. All of the participants showed great interest in the academic report and conducted in-depth discussion with professor Lasse Rosendahl.
