Guangzhou Institute of Energy Conversion Expects to Introduce in Overseas Talents
“The Talent Fair for Guangdong Province to introduce in High-Level Overseas Talents-2011” was held in U.S.A and Canada from July 28th, 2011 to August 7th, 2011, witnessing three large-scale recruitments in Boston, Silicon Valley and Toronto in July 30th, July 31th and August 6th respectively. More than 40 units from local enterprises, colleges, universities and research institutes took part in the on-site recruitment.
Mr. Ma Longlong, Party Secretary of Guangzhou Institute of Energy Conversion, CAS, had a face-to-face communication with the high-level talents who attended the fair. He introduced GIEC’s policies relating to drawing in and fostering overseas talents, and reached several initial intentions. The two sides furthered their discussion on overseas talent support and their job assumption after returning to China.
Professor Zhu Jingxu, an academician from Canadian Academy of Engineering, and Professor Zhang Keni, a geological scientist from The United States Laurence Berkeley National Laboratory, both of whom were recommended by GIEC, also attended the fair. Guangzhou Institute of Energy Conversion has already participated in the talent fair for three consecutive years, bringing in three experts listed among “ The Hundred Talents Program” of CAS and two associate researchers.
