A 15-person delegation of Siam Cement Group (SCG) paid a visit to Guangzhou Institute of Energy(GIEC) on 8th Jue 2012.

In conversazione, Pro. Wu Nengyou, the deputy director of GIEC warmly received visitors. Li haibin, the assistant director of GIEC introduced the situation and research achievements of GIEC, especially gave an detailed information about biomass energy's research of GIEC, including solid waste disposal technology,biomass gasification power generation technology and Biomass Gasification synthesis methyl ether study and so forth. The delegation showed great concerns over these information. Dr. Chaweewan Wichupanan, the spokesman of delegation, outlined a comprehensive information of development couse of SCG,and its operations area, and the efforts of SCG paid to energy area involving new energy and renewable energy and energy-saving. Both sides discussed and exchanged views of directions and areas of future possible cooperation, and achieved the mutual recognition about the huge space and the great potential of cooperation.
