GuangZhou Institute of Energy Conversion(GIEC) and General Electric (GE) Sign Strategic Cooperation Agreement
November 14,"Green challenge" press conference and GE-GIEC residual straw gasification technology strategic cooperation signing ceremony were held in Shanghai. Chuangzhi Wu, director of GIEC, and Mark Vachon, vice president of global "ecomagination" at GE,attended the signing ceremony.
The agreement indicates GE and GIEC have taken a key step forward to working together on commercialisation of residual straw gasification technology. This project is one of the entries of "Green Changllege" China campaign sponsored by GE, at the same time, it is the only winning business cooperation prize project.
After ceremony, Pro.Xiuli Yin of GIEC and principals of GE China Research&Development Center considered releated items of reserach agreement. The research content, work plan, intellectual property rights and confidentiality policy were agreed by both parties. Both sides hope can find an agreement as soon as possible, and hope to promote and implement the project.
This cooperation of GE and GICE will make a demonstration for commercialisation of China's cleantechnology.
