During Nov.18th-22nd,the 11th International Conference on Greenhouse Gas Control Technologies(GHGT-11)co-sponsored by the International Energy Agency and the Japanese Global Environment Industrial Science and Technology was held in Kyoto. There were over 2000 representatives from 50 countries and regions attended the biennial grand conference. JingPing Liao, the professor of GuangZhou Insitute of Energy Conversion (GIEC)and Ying Huang , a reserach associate of GIEC participated in this event.

This meeting, theming "CO2 Capture and Storage(CCS):CO2 reductions choice in the future", discussed the development and policy demand of CO2 Capture,conveyance and storage.There were 289 special branch reports during the event.

At branch meeting about CO2 source and sink matching, Ying Huang,represented the project group of GuangDong province CCS feasibility study, gave a report titled "The development prospect and early chances of GuangDong CCS ". This report expounded on the need for developping GuangDong CCS based on the analysis of carbon emission siutation of GuangDong power division., and introduced part reserach results about the development prospect and early chances of GuangDong power division CCS. Representatives expressed interest in this report and exchanged their experiences and thoughts.
