On Dec. 15th, the working conference of CAS Yuxi County Attapulgite R&D Research Center was held in Yuxi.

Prof. Xinde Chen from Guangzhou Institute of Energy Conversion delivered a speech during the meeting. By reviewing the work done in 2012, Prof. Chen laid out a detailed working plan for 2013 and also expressed the determination to make important breakthroughs in key technologies and expand attapulgite’s application areas. Experts in the meeting proposed valuable suggestions for the operation, service and future development direction of the Attapulgite R&D Research Center.

The Attapulgite R&D Research Center tries to gather together more organizations and researchers that are devoted to the development of attapulgite industry. It is during transition into new-type research institute that integrate R&D, industry, corporation and market which would better facilitate the development of attapulgite industry.
