In the year of 2015, GIEC Putuo technology transfer workstation was rewarded excellent technology transfer workstation of “Zhejiang Putuo United center of technology transfer of State Compound Elite” due to the outstanding performance in talent introduction, technology transfer and project collaboration, etc. on February 19, 2016, Dr. Peng Wanfeng, director of Technology Cooperation & Transfer Division of Guangzhou Institute of Energy Conversion, Chinese Academy of Sciences, was awarded Excellent Expert in Technology Cooperation. 

With the purpose of providing various high-tech services to local enterprises in Putuo district, GIEC Putuo Technology Transfer Workstation was co-founded by GIEC and the people’s government of Putuo district Zhoushan city of Zhejiang Province in March, 2011. It gets support in policy and funds from the people’s government of Putuo district,  

In 2016, Putuo technology transfer workstation will continue to play a major role in technology collaboration between GIEC and local enterprises in Putuo district, and also pushing forward the industrialization of new and renewable energy technology of GIEC.
