On January 23, the New Energy and Industrial Technology Development Organization (NEDO) from Japan visited Guangzhou Institute of Energy Conversion, Chinese Academy of Sciences (GIEC).

Prof. LI Xiaosen, deputy director of GIEC extended warm welcome to the guests. He said there’s great potential for cooperation between GIEC and NEDO, as NEDO is a governmental organization in Japan to promote the development of new energy technologies, and GIEC is a national institute devoted into the R&D of new and renewable energy.

The two parties exchanged with each other the latest research progresses in the fields of hydrogen and fuel cell, and discussed future cooperation regarding hydrogen development strategy, hydrogen production and storage, fuel cell technology and joint cooperation platform.
