To adequately demonstrate the achievement that Guangdong Province has obtained in the field of energy-saving and consumption-decreasing since the 11th five-year plan, to promote new energy source and energy-saving techniques, and to facilitate the investment in technological upgrading of enterprises, the fourth (2009) World Energy and Electricity-Saving Fair and New Energy Technology and Equipment Exhibition was held on June 10-12 at International Purchasing Center, Guangzhou City. Guangzhou Institute of Energy Conversion is one of the major units being invited. Organized by Technique-Commercialization Department, Over 50 members from all research groups attended the exhibition and provided the technical consultation services.

In the energy-saving and consumption-decreasing exhibition sector, many projects from Guangzhou Institute of Energy Conversion were displayed in various manners, such as exhibition boards` object and model. The displayed projects consist of biodiesel production` biomass gasification power generation technique` dynamic ice-storage technique` ground heat pump technique` island independent renewable energy system` thermolchromic smart class and etc.These projects attracted a lot of interests and attentions of the attendants who are from government` enterprise` university` research organization and new energy technique developers and integrators.
