Three-day workshop about extensive Sino-US cooperation consulting project in renewable energy power-generation was held in Guangzhou. It was organized by energy strategy research center of Guangzhou Institute of Energy Conversion (GIEC). The workshop is only within the energy experts in China, mainly including six academicians and fifteen energy experts and scholars.

During the workshop, the first draft of the project report was reviewed, coming out the modification recommendation about each chapter. Moreover, the suggestions proposed in the report were discussed and revision opinions were provided.

All the opinions and suggestions resulting from the workshop will be summarized and submitted to USA. The next work is going to move forward to finalize the report, organize the experts outside the project to do assessment, give press conference and publish finally. It is agreed that it is going to become an important consult ting report with a great operability for both USA and China governments to develop renewable energy
