Biological Circulating Fluidized Bed for hydrogen Rich Gas Production

2010-07-09

Project “biological circulating fluidized bed for hydrogen rich gas production”, undertaking by biomass research center of Guangzhou Institute of Energy Conversion (GIEC), was passed the acceptance inspection on July 2. The inspection team consists of specialists from universities and a registered accountant.

The project was started in 2007. The operation and configuration parameters were optimized through the experimental study and compute simulation, which provided feasible theoretical foundation for designing circulating fluidized bed gasifier. Moreover, a set of 8-15kg/hr oxygen-enriched gasification units was established, which is able to boost the hydrogen content extensively by syngas purification and reforming.

The inspection team remarked the achievement of the project highly, believing the project has been completed as expected.
