Heat Transfer Experiment on Power Generation Unit Makes Progress
The heat transfer experiment on ORC(Organic Rankine Cycle) system using mid-low temperature heat resource is done by the researchers from Geothermal Laboratory of Guangzhou Institute of Energy Conversion (GIEC) in Fuerda geothermal engineering joint research and development center from Mar 3 to 14. The experiment makes further progress on mid-low temperature resource.
An experimental investigation of organic fluid heat transfer with different inlet hot water temperature and temperature difference between inlet and outlet hot water is conducted. The experiment obtains the overall heat transfer coefficient of evaporator and condenser which provide the basic data for the mid-low temperature resource power generation unit. Associate professor Gong Yulie and director Qu Yong conduct detailed guidance for the experiment. General manger Wang Fumin and associate manger Wang Haiqing affirm the experiment system on the test site. They hope that the research and development center should accelerate the research progress and manufacture the first mid-low temperature resource power generation unit.
Fuerda geothermal engineering joint research and development center is established by the Guangzhou Institute of Energy Conversion and Shandong Fuerda Air-conditioner Equipment Co., Ltd, which is mainly responsible for the mid-low temperature resource power generation unit research and marketing.
