On Nov. 14th, 2011, Guangdong Provincial Department of Science and Technology organized experts to conduct feasibility argumentations on three projects of geothermal resource utilization technology, respectively undertaken by Guangzhou Institute of Energy Conversion, CAS, Shandong TRYWOW Heatpump Technology Co., Ltd, and CIGIS China Limited, and also participated by another nine organizations.

After inquiry and discussion, the expert group confirmed that the three projects are explicit in general objectives, proper in research contents allocation, feasible in techonology route, appropriate in organizational management and closely combined with major tasks in the industry of energy conservation and emission reduction, thus promoting common development in industrial, academic and research field in geothermal resource utilization. In addition, suggestions were also proposed involving the further subdivision index and consolidating index targeting at the project feasibility report. In the last, the expert group unanimously agreed that all of the three projects passed the feasibility argumentation.

Mr. Nengyou Wu, deputy director of Guangzhou Institute of Energy Conversion, CAS(GIEC), and Mr. Zhouyu Zhou, director of science department of GIEC attended the argumentation meeting.
