Project progress report meeting of “Key Technology Study of Energy Savings and Pollutant Reductions on Cross-border Tunnel - Island - Bridge Engineering”was held in Zhuhai on February 14th, 2012.

Dr. Wangpeng from Energy strategy Research Center of Guangzhou Institute of Energy Conversion (GIEC) reported the project progress and some main phase achievements since the project started. In the project, two study reports of solar photovoltaic and photothermal system technology and industrialization development investigation was achieved; solar photovoltaic and photothermal utilization scheme, as well as the heating and cooling combined system design scheme of solar energy and sea water source heat pump, both aiming at HZMB, was proposed. The next step will be the establishment of energy-saving evaluation model according to these key technologies mentioned above.
