The Implementation Plan of Project “Key Technologies for Target Prediction, Exploitation, and Application of Natural Gas Hydrate” Successfully Passes Expert Argumentation
On March 19th, Bureau of High-Tech Research and Development, Chinese Academy of Sciences led a group of experts in Guangzhou to carry out argumentation on the implementation plan of the key CAS project named “Key Technologies for Target Prediction, Exploitation, and Application of Natural Gas Hydrate” undertaken by Guangzhou Institute of Energy Conversion, CAS.
After hearing the reports, the expert group gets to understand that this project, targeting at exploring reservoir characteristics of northern South China Sea, utilizes multi-disciplinary and –scale methods to carry out research on key techonologies for target prediction, exploitation, and application of gas hydrate. The project endeavors to provide secure control technology plan for our country’s gas hydrate exploitation engineering, with adequate theoretical foundation, explicit target, clear technological roadmap, proper task arrangement and practical implementation plan. In addition, the team which undertakes the project has an effective management system and is also well founded in both human resources and research conditions, thus laying a solid foundation for supporting successful implementation of the project.
The expert team highly appreciated the implementation plan and unanimously agreed its successful passing. They also suggested an early launch of the project.
