On April 18, 2012, Guangzhou Institute of Energy Conversion, CAS and CSSC Guangzhou Longxue Shipbuilding Co. LTD jointly held the signing ceremony of the Manufacturing Contract of 100kw Duck Wave Energy Converter.

During the ceremony, Prof. Yage You, director of the ocean energy research center of GIEC, was invited to deliver a speech named “The technology and prospect of wave energy utilization”, and exchanged views with experts from the company. At last, Prof. Nengyou Wu, vice president of GIEC, and Mr. Suijia Xia, deputy general manager of CSSC Guangzhou Longxue Shipbuilding Co. LTD signed on the contract on behalf of the two organizations, and also exchanged text to preserve.

Both parties regard this contract as a good beginning for future cooperation and exchanges. And it meets their aspiration to expand cooperation fields and establish long-term partnership with each other.
