“International Conference on Biomass Energy Technologies & Exhibitions (ICBT2008)” sponsored by Chinese Renewable Energy
Society(CRES) and Chinese Biomass Association(CBA) was held on 3-5 Dec. 2008 at Guangzhou
Baiyun International Convention Centre. The 5th Biomass-Asia Workshop was taken place meanwhile.

The ICBT2008 was aiming at providing a communication and exhibition platform for experts, scholars and
industrialists in biomass energy field. The delegates included not only famous experts, scholars and
government officers，but also industrialists and professionals of investment institutions coming from Asia,
Europe and America. Themes included:Biomass resources,Biomass power,Biomass liquid fuels, Biomass solidification
 and etc.The attendence were more than 600.
