Project “heat-pump type water chiller driven by gas engine", undertaken by air conditioning and energy conversion lab of Guangzhou Institute of Energy (GIEC), was passed the acceptance check in May.19, 2010.

The project was started from 2007, during three years research, a ten horse power GHP prototype was made and some key technologies with independent intellectual property were achieved. At the same time, many related technologies were studied, such as recovery technology of waste heat from engine exhaust, the control technology of compressor lubrication oil, cryogenic heating technology, and reliability and pilot plant test of the GHP system.

Specialists asked more details about the project and visited the 10 HP prototypes of water chiller. Scientific research achievements were confirmed by the experts. All the experts believed that the achievements of the project met the requirements of the contract and accepted the project.
